28th Annual All British Field Meet
Join us again on July 23, 2016 at St. Edward State Park in Kenmore for the 28th Annual Western Washington All British Field Meet. This year’s show promises to be interesting and unique along with food, ice cream, great music and political correctness!! Instead of shining light on a single marque we want to celebrate the Diversity in all British Automobiles, by celebrating the year 1966 and showcasing all of those 50 year old LBCs. So it doesn’t matter if you drive an Austin Healey, a Triumph, MG, TVR, Sunbeam, Land Rover or Jaguar, we are all ONE in 1966!!! Let’s have some fun!
A letter from the Board of Directors
Welcome to the 2016 WWABFM!
What’s a Triumph??? What’s a TVR?…What’s a Bug-eye?? How many times have you heard that from those not of the 40’s, 50’s 60’s 70’s or 80’s decades?? From its beginning in 1988 under the leadership of Rob Broderick, Ken Bottini, and Roger Los and then into the new millennium under Arnie Taub, and with the commitment of Steve Hanegan to its preservation, the Western Washington ABFM has celebrated 27 years of the enjoyment of unique vehicles with the equally unique personalities that are drawn to them. With the mission to drive, enjoy, fuss over, repair, restore, and baby our gems we need to always engage in educating the new generations about our hobby world. As we enter the 28th year of the WWABFM we are transitioning to a new management model with the goal of continuing the momentum Steve and friends have built over the last 5 years. With the support of Little British Car Enthusiasts around the region we joined together to keep the faith and remind the world that the spirit of British Motoring is alive and well. We also contributed an extraordinary number of meals for the region’s needy through focused donations to Food Lifeline and we partook in good beverage, food, music , stories, raffles, and laughter throughout our venues. So once again we are proud to join with the many individual marque clubs, our exceptional sponsors (BritSport Seattle, Griots Garage, and G2 Motorsports ) in an ongoing effort to win the hearts and minds of the next generation of classic automobile and motorcycle enthusiasts and collectors – along with having a great party for the ones who are already won over…AND THANKS TO THOSE WHO HAVE HELPED ALONG THE WAY!!
As the planning continues, we will keep you posted here, so please check back often !!
