Annual Car  Tour and Rally "Run to the Sea

We will be leaving from Jaguar of Tacoma, located in the Fife Auto Mall, just west of I-5. From the North take I-5 South and exit at 136 turn Right to first Signal turn Right onto Pacific Highway go North about 1/4 mile dealership is on the Right. From the South take I-5 North exit 136B go over Freeway turn Right on Pacific Highway go North 1/4 mile dealership is on the Right.

The  Annual "Run to the Sea" is open to all Cars .This tour, on your own, will take you South and West through the back country to the  Washington Coast and then South into Oregon, to our final destination at Seaside OR. The Oceanview Resort will be our host hotel. We have arranged a dinner where we will have the opportunity to go over the days events, enjoy new friendships and award prizes. On Sunday morning, we will meet up again and head north using a different route. These are roads you have probably never driven. Through great places like Cosmopolis, Raymond and Nemah. This is not a rally, there are no traps. Run in the style of European events you will be given maps and instructions to make your drive a pleasant one.
You will arrive at the resort around 4:00pm and have time to take a dip in the pool or explore the town before meeting for Cocktails followed by Dinner. A choice of New York Steak with a Demi Glaze and Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Or Pacific Salmon, baked in Rosemary Garlic Butter Sauce and Rice Pilaf.  Both entrees come with Fresh Seasonal Vegtables, Mixed Garden Greens with Dressing, Rolls and Butter, Dessert, Coffee Tea or Iced Tea.
After Dinner thee will be an awards presentation and raffle prises.

On Sunday moring we will have a short Drivers Meeting to give you a return route. 
Feel free to explore Seaside on your own before heading home

Can't stay overnight? You can still join us for the Drive only or stay for dinner and you could still be back in the Seattle Area by Midnight 
Hotel Accommodations
The Oceanview Resort is holding rooms for Saturday night, to make reservations please call 1-800-234-8439, or at the Ebb-Tide Motel , across the street, to make reservations please call 1-800-468-6232. You must mention the "RUN TO THE SEA", to get the group rate. Please make reservations early, as rooms are only being held through Aug 16, 2008

9:30am     Drivers Meeting/First Car Out 
4:00pm Approx.  Arrive at The Ocean View Resort 
6:30pm  Cocktails ( no host bar) Dinner and Awards 
Sunday, Sept. 14,  2008
10:00am  Drivers Meeting, Leave on return trip, or stay over and tour south to Cannon Beach and  Tillamook, OR for the day.
